The annual festive celebration at St Peter’s Church in March has raised £1,832 – with more still to come.

Seventy six trees made up the festival this year with entries from all over the region from different groups, businesses and schools.
An organiser described this year’s festival as an “amazing display of decorations and lights and wonderful ideas entered by groups, societies, schools, businesses and individuals of all.”
Hundreds of people visited the church to judge this year’s entries and crown the winners of the adult and child category.
Voting was that close that the last family of five through the door decided the winner, with the U3A winning the adults category and the Burrowmoor Pre-School triumphing in the children’s category.
